Kindergarten Referrals

From our Kindergarten Room

To whom this may concern:

My daughter,Mia,attends Eagan Montessori for Kindergarten. Her teacher is Ms. Ruchika Verma.

I cannot say enough positive things about Ms. Ruchika. She has taught my daughter how to read this year, how to do double digit addition and subtraction, multiplication, money counting and telling time. These are all areas my two older children did not learn until second grade. In addition,Mia comes home performing dances that Ruchika has taught her and tells stories that Ruchika has told her. She is loving and comforting and we will miss her when Mia graduates from Kindergarten.

We will be challenged next year keeping Mia on the accelerated learning track that Ruchika has started as well as the “loving of learning” that Ruchika has instilled in Mia. We will always remember Ruchika as Mia’s loving Kindergarten teacher and starting Mia out with such a solid foundation!

Thank you Ruchika!!! You are the best teacher!!!

Sincerely,
Jenny Hicks

Our daughter,Avika, has been attending Eagan Montessori since she was 2 years old. In the fall of 2010,when she was 5 years old,she was scheduled to start Kindergarten at a public school. At that time,we were asked if we were interested in enrolling her in the Kindergarten program,at Eagan Montessori, under the guidance of Ms. Ruchika Verma.

Our experience with Eagan Montessori has always been very positive. We feel that Eagan Montessori has a very strong tilt towards academic achievement. Ms. Ruchika has continued this trend into the Kindergarten program.

The Kindergarten curriculum under Ms. Ruchika covers language skills, science, math, and social studies at levels much above Kindergarten levels. As an example,Avika is doing three digit addition, and has even learned concepts of time and money. These concepts are covered in 1st grade in the public schools.

Ms. Ruchika provides 1-on-1 time with all the children in her classroom, thus enabling them to perform much above their grade level. Avika enjoys the rapport she has with Ms. Ruchika, and looks forward to going to school everyday. It brings us great joy to see our child so enthusiastic about learning-and Ms. Ruchika is a huge part of this.

We hope that Ms. Ruchika continues to impart knowledge and love for learning for many years to come. We hope that other educators can look up to her as a role model. We know that our daughter does.

Sincerely,
Anurag &Deepa Mathur

Dear Ms Ann,Ms Ruchika, and all EMS staff                        12/01/11

It takes a village to raise a child…….not sure who first said this but it is true.

As some of you already know,I am Kobe and Lucy’s grandmother and I am so thankful for all you “villagers” at EMS.  You play such an important role in my grandchildren’s everyday life,I cannot thank you enough for all that you do.

If anyone ever wonders if a Montessori school is as wonderful as they are known to be We will testify to that!

My granddaughter went to kindergarten at a public school in Eagan.  I never felt she learned much and was very disappointed in the public school system but at the time I did not know that Montessori had kindergarten classes.   When we moved the kids to Eagan Montessori that summer and that fall my granddaughter stayed for kindergarten.

She started reading simple books, then reading short stories to her brother and by spring she was reading chapter books.  She uses math as often as she can,she loves to surprise up with all that she knows.

She loves MS. Ruchika as does her brother.  Ms.  Ruchika,in every Childs life there is one special teacher that uses just the right words or just the right touch to open that child’s mind to everything possible and for Lucy I believe that was you.  Thank you for helping her believe in herself and be confident and self assured.  You are a great TEACHER.

So the rest of our story goes like this.  After only one week in First Grade Lucy was moved into Second grade.  At parent teacher conferences her teacher said she was so glad that they moved her to second grade because that is exactly where she needed to be!  And for that Ms. Ruchika,I thank you so much.

We came to Eagan Montesorri out of desperation but stay because of the Blessings you have given us.

Words cannot completely show my gratitude…..

Sincerely,

Terri Blazer
