From our Preschool Room
My five (soon to be 6) year old daughter has been in Ms. Ruchika’s class at Eagan Montessori for 8 months now. During this time Jaymie has flourished in her ability to do math, write and or course, her favorite skill-dancing! Ms. Ruchika excels at creating a warm and caring environment for her kids (yes, when they are with her she treats each child as her own). There is an intangible comfort when a mother sees the care being given her child by another so closely approximating her own care and love for the child-it is a relief of great magnitude. Your child deserves love and help and he or she will get both in Ms. Ruchika’s class!
Sincerely,
Colleen May
Thank you Eagan Montessori!!!
I am so pleased with the progress Elle has made in her problem solving, math, reading, and social skills. It is so exciting to hear about her day on the way home from school. She gets a kick out of knowing that Ms. Mickey was my teacher too. It’s a relief to know that Elle is well taken care of in a safe, child friendly environment while I am at work. I appreciate your flexibility in her start and end times as my schedule is always changing. I love the fact that school opens at 6:30am and is open until 6pm,as a single parent, this gives me an opportunity to get errands done after my busy work day. Please feel free to use me as a referral. Again,Thank you all for being so wonderful.
Sincerely,
Eir and Elle Borgersen
Dear Interested Parents or Teachers,
My son Syon, now four years old,has been a student at Eagan Montessori for nearly three years. He has very much thrived in the Montessori environment due to the structure it provides and yet the individualism of each student that the teachers embrace. There is a nice balance of individual choice and interest, and yet predictable routine and expectations in which Syon finds great comfort and security.
Although Syon has had a few great teachers over the past few years,Ms. Kaylee Raisl stands out significantly. Her communication and interactions with her students exemplify the values of respect, practicality, individual uniqueness, and supporting the students’ full potential. Ms. Kaylee is very down to earth and approachable. She anticipates the needs of the students and her classroom,is proactive and planful, and is very attentive and responsive to the parent’s needs as well. One day on the way home,I asked Syon what his favorite part of the day was and after a thoughtful pause he replied,“Seeing Ms. Kaylee.” This speaks to how she is able to connect with each student and how a meaningful relationship with their teacher can completely make a child’s day and overall experience at “school.”
Ms. Kaylee is the most competent at managing challenging behaviors and her classroom as a whole more than other teachers I have observed. She does this by connecting with the student at their level with her respectful demeanor, tactful language, and strategic approach, which exemplifies her proficiency of children’s developmental stages and psychology. Ms. Kaylee is a perfect role model for peer teachers and I recommend her for training other teachers in classroom management, behavior management, communication styles, and many other training topics. It is a true gift to feel confident and comfortable with the care and experience that my child has when I am away.
Sincerely,
Cheryl Weber-Thapa
